NURS 4450 - Introduction to Trauma-RN-BSN

Description
This course will introduce the four major categories of trauma and the traumatic response. The course will be tailored to examine the complete spectrum of trauma: signs and symptoms of the traumatic response; evidence based research regarding recognition, response and treatment of trauma with a holistic paradigm; and the role of early intervention and community tools in both prevention and response to trauma. This course is designed for students enrolled in the RN-BSN program.
