Description
Corequisites: EDCI 4640 & EDCI 4700.Taken concurrently with the final semester of the student teaching experience and EDCI 4640: Critical Issues in Middle Grades Education, this lab course will guide and monitor the teacher candidate (TC) in reflection on, and application of, disciplinary literacy instructional needs of their middle level teaching and learning context. This lab is an extension of content begun in the earlier stages of the MLE program and provides students with faculty instructional coaching to improve their planning, implementation, and reflection of disciplinary literacy theory and practice within their individual student teaching placement.
