Description
This course explores how public organizations harness big data to inform policy design, increase stakeholder engagement, and improve service delivery. It starts by defining big data, describing its characteristics, and exploring its challenges and opportunities through public and private use cases. Emphasis is placed on social, political, and ethical considerations of using big data for political and economic benefit.
