AAS 3115 - Gender and Race in AI and Gaming


Description
This course will provide a critical exploration into the intersections of gender, race, and technology, with a focus on artificial intelligence (AI) and the gaming industry. Gender and Race in AI and Gaming provides an interdisciplinary exploration into the intricate intersections of gender and race within the domains of Artificial Intelligence and gaming. This course delves deep into the societal, cultural, and ethical implications of gender and racial representations and biases in AI technologies and gaming platforms. Students will engage in critical discussions, case studies, and analytical assessments to understand the multifaceted impact of gender and race in shaping user experiences, technological developments, and gaming narratives. Same as WGSS 3115 and CMIS 3115.
