NURS 4113 - Caring for Childbearing Families LPN-BSN

Prerequisites: NURS 2050, 3160, 3166, 3180, 3525, & 3825 Corequisites: NURS 4115, 4116, & 3700The course focuses on the application of nursing knowledge and skills in the care of women and childbearing families. The goal is to foster health promotion, maintenance, and/or restoration of optimal patterns of health. Emphasis is given to early detection and intervention of altered health patterns for women throughout their lifespan and during the childbearing period. Under faculty supervision, the student develops and refines professional registered nurse practice.
