FI 4360E - Advanced Topics in Business Valuation

Pre/Corequisites: Prerequisites: FI 4350 or permission of instructor.
Description
In FI 4360E, students will acquire the skills needed to critically assess and value traditional businesses, as well as early-stage companies, intellectual property, and disruptive technologies. They will learn to apply key principles, methodologies, and frameworks to evaluate the strategic value, growth potential, and risk factors associated with firms in different industries. By the end of the course, students will be equipped to create and present compelling valuation reports and investment pitches that effectively communicate their findings to diverse stakeholders. This course prepares students for careers in investment banking, venture capital, private equity, and entrepreneurial ventures
