MK 4750E - Generative AI Applications in Marketing 3 Credit Hours
Pre/Corequisites: Prerequisites: None. Description Requirements: Must meet RCB upper division course requirements and 45 semester hours. This course offers an introduction to using AI in marketing, combining theory with real-world applications. The course covers machine learning, algorithms, NLP, and generative AI and explores their marketing roles. Students explore AI-driven market research, focusing on synthetic data, segmentation, targeting, and customer journeys. The course covers AI’s impact on content creation, SEO, brand and product development, and social AI, including social listening, sentiment analysis, and advanced personalization like programmatic ads and chatbots. It also introduces big data analytics, AI forecasting, and ethical considerations, while examining future trends in VR, AR, hyper-personalization, and the metaverse.
