Pre/Corequisites: Prerequisite: Completion of at least three semesters (through 2001 or above) of Chinese or another Asian language (e.g., Japanese or Korean) with a grade of C or higher, or consent of instructor.

Description
This course familiarizes students of Chinese and Asian Studies with theories of language acquisition that apply specifically to Asian languages. Students will gain experience in using methodologies of second language (L2) acquisition in analyzing and assessing cultural competence.
