JOUR 3900 - Digital Journalism

Pre/Corequisites: Prerequisite: Jour 3010 and Jour 3060 with a grade of C or higher. Only students who have met the Journalism Major Eligibility Requirements may enroll in this course without department approval.
Description
This is a skills-based, project course. Students will learn to become visual storytellers and create journalistic pieces that encompass all aspects of visual storytelling, including concept development, pitching, producing, video recording, scripting, and editing. Students will develop a better understanding of how to distribute their final products across traditional and digital platforms. This course may include a Signature Experience component.
