Pre/Corequisites: Prerequisites: Jour 3010 with a C or higher.
Description
Reporting and producing stories about community issues, with an emphasis on the “watchdog” role of journalists, access to records and Freedom of Information Act requests. Students will produce multiple-sourced stories to engage audiences around local-level issues. Attending meetings and interviewing are key components of the course.City Scholars course.
