Requirements: Must meet RCB upper division course requirements and 45 semester hours.This course is designed to train students in the planning, execution, and evaluation of advertising strategies. Students apply decision criteria to every stage in the advertising process: analysis of industries, competitors, consumers, and products; market segmentation; objective setting; budget allocation; product positioning; development of creative strategy and tactics; media planning; and advertising evaluation. Through the use of an extensive campaign project, students learn firsthand the challenges of creating effective advertising programs. This course may include a Signature Experience component.
