Not acceptable for credit for Bachelor of Music candidates. Includes staff notation, the piano keyboard, rhythm and meter, scales and modes, intervals and triads. Designed for students who read music. This course may be taken in preparation for Theory sequence by prospective majors needing preparatory strengthening in these areas and by non-majors starting applied music study.
