Pre-requisites: NURS 3510, NURS 3610, NURS 3710, NURS 3810, SNHP 3500 or NURS 3500. The course focuses on the transition to professional nursing practice. Working with a nurse preceptor, the student assumes the role of the registered nurse and provides patient-centered care that is based on current evidence-based practice.
