The Department of Social Sciences is multi-disciplinary department that offers pathways of study focused on the academic and applied investigations of how humans interact-behaviorally, geographically, politically, historically, socially and culturally. The Department is committed to enlivening our studies and wholly engaging our students in the learning process. Students who study here go on to pursue advanced degrees and careers in law, business, journalism and education-among other professions.
Our focus is on the student, and the broad-based approach to the study of the human condition enables our students to thrive in a global society and embrace diversity in both the academic and professional settings. Our award-winning faculty are noted experts on a variety of topics, they work diligently to bring the curriculum to life so the learning process is personal and real-world for students.
