Areas A-E of the Core Curriculum (42 Hours)
Recommendations The A.A. in Art pathway does not require a studio concentration. Students are required to take world language, art history, and at least three foundation studio courses. The A.A. in Art has two tracks: Art History and Art. Both tracks align with the coursework students take in the first two years of the Bachelor of Arts programs at GSU Welch School of Art & Design and leads to one of the following two B.A. tracks at the WSAD: - The Bachelor of Arts with a concentration in Art History
- The Bachelor of Arts with a concentration in Studio Art
Recommended Courses
To maximize the opportunity to take elective courses in Art History Either Area F: Courses Appropriate to the Pathway (18 Hours)

- World language at the 1002 level or higher 3 Hours
Select one of the following Art History courses (3 Hours)
