Music Industry, B.S. - Music Production & Audio Recording Concentration


Music Production & Audio Recording Concentration


Students in the B.S. in Music Industry are advised to take a combination of courses from the Field of Study and Major areas during their first and second year of study.

Degree Requirements


Field of Study (18 Hours)


Foundation courses to the major and concentration.

Required Courses

12 Hours

Music Production & Audio Recording Concentration students should complete Theory and Aural Skills courses through level II to fulfill the requirement below. Placement may vary based on placement exam results. 

Theory Requirements

MUS 10XX Appropriate Large Ensemble

4 Hours (4 semesters, 1 credit each) 

Ensembles: please note that students are assigned to appropriate ensembles by pool auditions at the beginning of every fall and spring semester.

Course options are dependent upon the results of Audition or Digital Portfolio entrance to the School of Music.

Major (60 Hours)
