Biology, B.S., Pre-Medical/Pre-Health Concentration

Degree Requirements (120 Hours)

The Pre-Medical/Pre-Health Concentration (PMPHC) is designed to prepare students for a career in the medical field. In addition to meeting the basic medical school application course requirements, upper-level courses are available to prepare students for their first year of medical school.

Students who desire a Special Master’s Degree Program can take specific courses* in the PMPHC which will count toward both B.S. and M.S. Degrees in Biology, Medical Science. Upon attaining a grade of B or better in Biol 3240 and 3250 and a minimum 3.3 GPA, students can apply for Dual Degree in Biology-Medical Science. *Dual Degree courses are Biol 6686 Pathophysiology, Biol 6687 Surgical Anatomy, Biol 6997 Clinical Internship, Biol 6685 Functional Histology.
