EXC 6570 - Individual and Classroom Management

Description
The course is designed to promote skill development in the use of empirically validated methodolgy on the formation of interventions and effective management strategies for individuals as well as groups across a variety of learning environments. Participants develop an understanding of individual and group motivation and behavior to create a learning environment that encourages positive social interactions, active engagement in learning, and self motivation. A case study approach is used to promote reflection, evaluation, synthesis, and application of principles learned. This course requires additional assignment(s) beyond those at the initial level. (Repeatable, twice).
