This course addresses the art and architecture of Mesoamerica (Mexico, Guatemala, Belize, and Honduras), the Middle of the Americas (Nicaragua, Costa Rica, Panama, and Colombia) and Andean South America (Ecuador, Peru, Bolivia, and Chile), from the earliest cultures that populated these regions up through the Aztec and Inka cultures that encountered the Spaniards.
