PHPB 9310 - Public Health Management and Finance

Prerequisites: Must be officially enrolled as a Doctoral-level Public Health major.
Description
This course covers the study of business, government, and not-for-profit agency management and finance techniques. Students will learn to review and analyze human, fiscal, and other public health resources and propose appropriate strategies to achieve the strategic capital goals of a public health organization. Students will also learn how to research, investigate, and cultivate new potential resources and revenue streams to enhance the capacity of a public health organization to achieve its mission.
