(Same as MATH 6258) Algebra of vectors, vector calculus, divergence, gradient, curl, line integrals, surface integrals, divergence theorem of Gauss, Stokes’s theorem, conservative fields, orthogonal curvilinear coordinates, matrices, eigenvalue problems. Three lecture hours a week.
