SW 8100 - Skills and Techniques of Community Partnerships I

Description
This is the first of two courses that focus on core skills, techniques for community partnership practice. Through the course students will develop skills in creating and sustaining community partnerships necessary for addressing social, economic and political issues facing communities today. Students will examine community practitioner roles and skills and apply these to contemporary community practice conceptual frameworks and models. The application of skills necessary for building organizational and community capacity and the development of authentic community partnerships will be emphasized.
