Description
This course addresses knowledge and skill development in group facilitation. Issues, principles, and challenges common to diverse groups (e.g., focus groups, work teams, committees, partnerships, coalitions) are explored. Students will be exposed to specific methods of group facilitation, such as team building, consensus planning, and strategic action planning, and to the facilitator’s role in working with macro-focused groups.
