PT 6630 - Evidence-based Practice I

Prerequisites: Entry into the PT program and successful completion of all prior DPT courses.
Description
This course is designed to prepare the student to use techniques associated with evidence based practice in physical therapy. Students will learn to develop clinical questions, develop search strategies to access best available evidence, begin to analyze selected literature, and utilize information to facilitate clinical decision making. Students will explore the impact of evidence based practice on physical therapy practice.
