PT 6810 - Functional Anatomy II


2 Credit Hours
Prerequisites: Entry into the PT program and successful completion of all prior DPT courses.
Corequisites: PT 6800 .
Description
This course introduces the student to the theory and practical application of basic tests and measures related to the anatomical structures in the spine. Examination procedures that will be taught include; palpation, muscle strength testing, ROM and flexibility testing, sensory testing, special tests and introduction to the evaluation of the results from these tests and measurements. This course is designed to apply content from Human Gross Anatomy II (PT 6800 ) to the functioning human being.
