PT 7625 - PT Management of Musculoskeletal Disorders I 3 Credit Hours Prerequisites: Entry into the PT program and successful completion of all prior DPT courses. Description This lecture/laboratory course is the first in a series of five musculoskeletal courses designed to teach examination, evaluation, diagnosis, prognosis, management and determine outcomes in patients with musculoskeletal dysfunctions. This course will focus of musculoskeletal dysfunctions of the shoulder, elbow, forearm, wrist and hand. The disablement model and the International Classification of Function will be utilized as a basis for examination, evaluation, diagnosis, prognosis, management and outcome assessment. This course will further promote development of knowledge in differentiating musculoskeletal dysfunctions/disorders in the cervical and thoracic spine and upper extremities.
