Description
Health disparities across gender, race-ethnicity, age, and socioeconomic status are systemic within the U.S. society. This course offers a comprehensive understanding of the issues and complexities involved in the emergence and persistence of these health disparities. It explores theories and research from multiple disciplines most prominently sociology, but also including public health, psychology, and biomedical fields.
