NEUR 8240 - Advanced Neuroendocrinology

Prerequisites: NEUR 8000 with a grade of B or higher, or equivalent, or consent of the instructor.
Description
This course aims to provide the student with an overview of Neuroendocrinology at the graduate level. Hormone synthesis and mechanisms of action, as well as advanced principles regarding how hormones interact with the nervous system to influence behavior will be emphasized. Three lecture hours per week.
