Description
This course engages students in a study of theory and pedagogy related to the teaching of the English language. The course focuses on various instructional methods used to help students gain oral and written discourse competence in a multicultural society. Topics include teaching English grammar and usage as well as the social, political, cultural, and historical influences on language variation and change.
