JUR 8100 - Introduction to Law

Description
This foundational course introduces M.J. students to U.S. legal system. It includes an overview of the basic structure of government and how power is distributed between the three branches of government and between federal, state, and local governments, the sources of law and how they relate to each other. The course will also teach students how to read a case, to conduct basic legal research.
