Description
Admission to the master’s program in the School of Nursing. Innovations in technology and informatics are changing the delivery of health care services. Nurse leaders must be prepared to evaluate the effectiveness of these innovations. This course includes an introduction to medical technology and clinical informatics assessment. The basic knowledge and competencies that describe the field of health care informatics are discussed. In addition, strategies to evaluate new technologies in health care will be addressed.
