NUTR 6955 - Nutrition Policy and Program Planning

Prerequisites: None for students accepted into the Health Science degree program with a specialization in nutrition.
Description
Others must seek consent of the instructor. This course focuses on the policy making process at the federal and state levels and the process of program planning and evaluation, as related to food and nutrition programs. Group projects and independent assignments are included to help students develop a conceptual framework for developing, implementing and evaluating nutrition policies and programs.
