The intent of this seminar series is to provide students with opportunities for scientific and professional growth in the field of public health. Part 2 of the seminar series will focus on student professional development and will include guest lecturers related to Ph.D. public health careers in government, academia, and research. Professional development topics will be covered including: vita development, interviewing skills, approaches to teaching, professional conduct at conferences, networking, career development, and how to be successful in the academic job market. This seminar will be graded Satisfactory or Unsatisfactory (S/U).
