MGT 8790 - Supply Chain Management Capstone Project

Description
This is a project-based course where students are afforded the opportunity to work on real business challenges facing actual organizations. Under faculty guidance and supervision, students identify and define a key Supply Chain Management challenge facing a host organization, devise a plan to address it, and coordinate with organization representatives to solve/mitigate it. At the end of their assignment, student provide their respective host organizations with an actionable plan delineating the steps required and resources needed to effect the desired outcome that they had set out to achieve. The course is structured such that students learn by doing and gain critical problem-solving and project-management skills required to effect positive change in today’s complex supply chains.
