STEM 8410 - Toward Antiracist and Justice-Oriented Transdisciplinary STEM Education

Description
This transdisciplinary course prepares certified teachers to integrate standards-aligned and antiracist science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) in their curriculum. We seek to interrogate and dismantle oppressive STEM curricula, and adopt critical frameworks that promote more liberatory instructional approaches. Evidence-based models and practices that transcend core STEM disciplines will move teachers toward justice and equity for racially, culturally, and linguistically diverse student populations and communities.
