Deaf Studies Minor

For students who are interested in working with deaf/hard of hearing children or adults, the Deaf Studies minor will provide students with an understanding of American Sign Language and Deaf Culture(s). 

Students who wish to minor in deaf studies should complete 18 credits in the following:

Note that a minimum grade of “B” is required in ASL 2002, ASL 3001, DFST 3115, DFST 3250, DFST 3260, DFST 4360, and SLIP 3010. A minimum grade of “C” is required in DFST 2200 and EXC 4350.
