The Philosophy, Politics, and Economics concentration of the Master’s of Interdisciplinary Studies prepares students for careers and graduate programs that require independent thought with significant analytic and critical reasoning as well as research and writing.  Those students are especially well-positioned for careers in law, government, public service, or entrepreneurial endeavors.  This degree would help them contribute intelligently to the public dialogue of a vibrant democracy, but would also help them increase their value as employees, while also increasing their value as citizens.  In short, the M.I.S. in PPE would help those in corporate, government, or entrepreneurial positions improve their opportunities.
