Prerequisites: Prerequisite: Entry into the PT program.
Description
This course will provide an overview of typical development from infancy to adolescence, in all developmental domains, with a focus on motor development as well as normal aging process. The course material is presented and discussed in the context of clinical cases. Emphasis is placed on the principles, processes, and phases of growth. Normal physiologic changes with aging will be presented for adults and the impact of these changes on physical therapy management of older adults will be emphasized. L
