Description
This graduate seminar engages scholarship about the social, cultural, political, and economic history of the United States during the years between Reconstruction and the economic crash of 1929. We will cover a range of topics, including race and ethnicity, class and economic ideologies, gender, domestic politics, foreign policy, and regional difference. We will also read and discuss a selection of important primary sources from this period.
