Description
Exploration of the historical and cultural development of mathematics from A.D. 1600 to the present. Mathematics topics to include the development of algebraic geometry, logarithms, calculus, non-Euclidean geometry, abstract algebra, probability, and analysis. Three lecture hours a week.
