PHIL 8990 - Proseminar in Philosophy

Prerequisites: Enrollment in the Philosophy or PPE masters programs, or consent of instructor.
Description
Preparation for students to complete the philosophy MA program and to make informed career choices after obtaining their degree. Topics may include: deciding on a thesis topic and advisor; working productively on the thesis; submitting work to conferences; whether to apply to Ph.D. programs and how to do so successfully; non-academic career options and how to pursue them.
