GERO 8124 - Diversity and Aging

Description
Same as AAS 6042 and SOCI 8124 This course examines aging through the lens of diversity and considers the socio-cultural factors that create variations, including disparities, across the life course and into later life. Emphasis is placed on understanding the influences of race and ethnicity as well as other key intersecting social relations and how they shape older adults lives, especially among minority elders.
