Requirement: A minimum grade of “S” is required for this course.With the assistance of a faculty member, the student plans and implements an independent study project or research. A Directed Reading Form is available from the Office of Academic Assistance and Graduate Admissions and requires consultation with the instructor of choice to develop the topic of study, approval by the student’s advisor, and approval by the chair of the department.
