Description
The role of professional organizations in the development of standards of practice that guide the provision of nursing services is analyzed. The basics of health care law will be included. Medical ethics as they relate to informatics, use of new technology and administrative issues will be addressed. Additional content pertaining to health related disparities will be included. Selected issues in the conduct of research with vulnerable populations will be discussed. Strategies to foster health promotion, health protection and health restoration will be explored. L
