PHPB 8275 - Health Literacy

Description
This course is designed to give students a systematic understanding of how health literacy impacts health outcomes. Students will learn health literacy from an ecological perspective, and evaluate the impact of influencers including education, economics, culture, communication and public policy. The course will help develop and expand knowledge and understanding of health outcomes and health literacy, demands of health systems and culture, and the relationship of health literacy to individual topics of interest.
