CMIS 6315 - Advanced Motion Capture Pipeline

Description
Students will learn to use Inertia-Based solutions utilizing XSens Link and Awinda motion capture suits, along with MVN Studio to engineer full-body mocap data. Students will build optical motion projects accvia the Opti-Track system, while using Motive capture software to record industry standard, sub-millimeter accurate data. Students will create character motion capture by building proficiency in essential fundamentals such as actor and system calibration, body dimensions measurement and inputs, marker sets and sensor placements to accomplish the goal of obtaining “good data” and to complete successful captures.
