PHYS 6520 - Mathematics of Physics II

Prerequisites: a course in ordinary differential equations.
Description
Same as MATH 6265. Derivation and solution of partial differential equations of physics, wave equation, Laplace’s equation, Schroedinger’s equation, poer series solution of ordinary differential equations, special functions of mathematical physics, Fourier series, Sturm-Liouville systems, complex analysis, and integration. Three lecture hours a week.
