GEOS 6051 - Introduction to the Environmental History of Georgia

Description
Georgia ‘s natural environments have been impacted at varying spatial and temporal scales since the initial arrival of humans in the Southeastern US approximately 10,000 years ago. Significant impacts were realized following the arrival of European colonists in the late 16th century. An analysis of anthropogenic impacts will be provided to understand changes in the landscapes and hydrologic systems of Georgia through time.
