Same as GERO 8130 This course examines older adults family lives and intimate relationships in social, historical and demographic context. Emphasis is placed on theoretical and methodological understanding in the type, nature, content and meaning of relationships, empirical research, and on identifying influential factors, including, for example, gender, race, ethnicity, class, sexual orientation, and health status.
