NEUR 6070 - Sensory Neuroscience

Prerequisites: NEUR 6010 or BIOL 6102 with a C or higher, or consent of instructor.
Description
Crosslisted with BIOL 6070. The course will cover the neural basis of sensation and perception, from neural coding in the sense organs to central representation leading to perception. The neurobiology of vision, audition, somatosensation (touch and pain), and chemosensation (taste and smell) will be covered.
